Why is self-esteem Important in Child Development

Have you ever noticed that your child has difficulty in speaking up? Your child engages less in conversations with everyone, in fact, they even remain silent for their own needs and feeling. They apologize continuously for simple mistakes, it could be spilling water on the ground, or messing up bedsheets. These traits contribute to low self-esteem. It could be how to draw a bird, counting or any simple task that your child choose. It boosts their confidence. Also, your child will feel sure about themself. They will stop doubting themself, which will help them academically. Avoid interrupting them or being with them all the time. Your child will be able to figure out a way for themself later in life.

Pointing out the mistakes of a child is a big no-no in the developing phase. In their absence, check on their performance in class.
